Vibrator Time
Using mechanical vibration to achieve rapid, intense arousal through various direct and indirect applications.
How to do it
Vibrators offer a wide range of sensations depending on how they are applied. Since every body responds differently to vibration, try these common approaches:
- Direct Stimulation: Apply the toy directly to the clitoral glans (often best with a lubricant).
- Indirect Stimulation: Place the vibrator over your underwear, a towel, or the clitoral hood to “muffle” the intensity for a buzzy, broader sensation.
- Labial Tracking: Run the vibrator up and down the labia majora and minora to build blood flow before focusing on the clitoris.
- Internal/Mixed: Use a contoured vibrator to stimulate the G-spot or vaginal walls while the base of the toy (or a second motor) provides external clitoral vibration.
Why it works
Vibrators provide a frequency of stimulation that the human hand cannot replicate (often hundreds of cycles per second). This rapid-fire input overwhelms the nerve endings in a way that can lead to faster and more explosive orgasms. Vibration also helps increase local blood circulation (vasocongestion) more quickly than manual touch, making the entire area more sensitive and responsive to further stimulation.
