Up & Down

A fundamental clitoral stimulation technique using vertical strokes to build arousal.

How to do it

Using one or two fingers, apply light to medium pressure and rub in a vertical (up and down) motion. You can start by rubbing along one side of the clitoral hood to build sensitivity gradually. For more direct stimulation, move your fingers directly over the clitoris. Experiment with the speed of your strokes and the length of the movement—sometimes keeping the stroke short and fast provides a more concentrated sensation, while longer strokes can feel more broad and relaxing.

Why it works

The clitoris contains a high concentration of nerve endings. Linear, vertical motion provides consistent friction that stimulates these nerves without the complexity of more advanced movements. By starting on the side of the clitoris (indirect stimulation) and moving toward the center, you can manage the intensity of the sensation, preventing the area from becoming overwhelmed too quickly and allowing for a longer, more controlled buildup.
