Edging

A method of plateauing arousal by stopping just before climax to prolong the session and enhance the final release.

How to do it

Stimulate yourself using any preferred technique until you reach the “point of no return”—the moment just before an involuntary orgasm starts. At that exact peak, stop all stimulation completely or slow down significantly until your arousal level drops back to a manageable level. Repeat this cycle of building up and backing off several times. Only allow yourself to climax once you have decided to finish the session.

Why it works

Edging, also known as “surfing,” trains the body to stay in a high state of arousal for longer periods. By repeatedly approaching the threshold of orgasm, you increase the amount of dopamine and physical tension in the body. When you finally allow the climax to happen, the accumulated physiological pressure usually results in a significantly more powerful and longer-lasting orgasm.
